A Social Skills Group for kids addicted to Lego ® and Minecraft ® who need to make friends and learn social, emotional, and interpersonal problem-solving skills.
Facilitated by Developmental and Educational Psychologist Greg Hutcheon.
How does it work?
- Friendship making skills
- Labelling, understanding and dealing with feelings
- Learning how to read and respond to social situations
- Conflict resolution skills
- Kids learning to negotiate social challenges while directing, staring in, and editing their own Lego ® short films in groups
Participants: We welcome children aged 8-12, both boys and girls, who would benefit from a group social skills program.
BYO: Your own favourite lego ® pieces in named containers, and your imagination.
