Alycia is a provisional psychologist who is passionate about mental health, self-care and healing trauma. She focuses on building strong relationships with clients in order to help them recognise their own strengths and develop the skills they need to reach their goals.
Alycia has a strong background working with children and families who have experienced trauma including domestic and family violence, separated families, children in foster care, and families with Child Safety involvement.
Alycia has also worked with adults experiencing mental health issues and addiction, and participated in restorative justice through counselling at Murri Court.
Growing up in a military family, she has spent time living and working in both capital cities and rural locations including Mount Isa, Perth and Townsville.
Outside of work, Alycia enjoys trying every hobby possible from painting and pottery to geocaching and programming microcontrollers.
