
Speech Pathologist
Lachlan is a Speech & Language Pathologist who has a special interest in language and literacy disorders, particularly in adolescents and young adults. He has clinical experience in many settings, including education, mental health, hospital inpatient/outpatient, rural & remote locations, telehealth clinics, and private practice.
Lachlan understands that reading and writing are two of the most important skills that we can learn. He has done extensive research on how difficulties in these areas impact people’s functioning and mental health, as well as how to best treat these disorders.
Lachlan prides himself on using the best evidence-based practices, and trying to apply them in unique and innovative ways.
In addition to his treatments for people with dyslexia and developmental language disorder (DLD), he also has experience in working with people who have:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Mental Health conditions
- Complex developmental disorders (e.g. comorbid ADHD, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, etc.)
- Selective Mutism
